In Tuesday's league contest, the host Spearville Lancers basketball team scored a big 50-25 win over the Ingalls Bulldogs.

The Lancers (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, KS). The Blue Jays come into the Southern Plains-Iroquois contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Ashland was trounced by South Gray (Montezuma, KS), 61-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois match, on Friday, February 13. Ingalls will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 12-8 record after their 62-57 league loss to Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS).
