Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA), 49-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Ponderosa advances its record to 12-15 on the year. The Bruins host Inderkum (Sacramento, CA) to face the Tigers in a Capital Valley Conference match on Thursday, February 12. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 17-10. Inderkum won 71-33 in their recent league match against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA)

The Eagles now own a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bella Vista for a Capital Valley Conference match on Thursday, February 12. Vista del Lago will face a Broncos squad coming off a 72-44 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 4-23.
