Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Punxsutawney topples DuBois
February 11, 2021: DuBois, PA 15801 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) basketball squad beat the host DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA), by a count of 59-46.
The Chucks (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Stingers go into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Marion Center defeated United (Armagh, PA), 74-69, in a league outing.
The Beavers now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Central Mountain for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 13. DuBois will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-35 league win over Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.
