Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) and the visiting South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL), saw Central's basketball squad knock off South Sumter by a count of 64-49.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 23-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lakewood (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-14. Lakewood lost 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL)

Next up, the Raiders play the Gibbs Gladiators (St. Petersburg, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 17. South Sumter will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record.
