February 11, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 45-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, King's Fork upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 14-1. Nansemond River won 46-37 in their recent non-league match against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
The Hawks now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grassfield for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Hickory will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 51-41 non-league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 10-0.
