Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hammond Morton upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Governors host Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Ingots play the Hammond Gavit Gladiators (Hammond, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 16. River Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 54-30 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, IN).
