Michigan High School Basketball - Ubly can't hold off Cass City
February 12, 2024: Ubly, MI 48475 The Cass City Red Hawks basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Ubly Bearcats to 30 in the Red Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reese for a Greater Thumb - West contest on Tuesday, February 13. Cass City will battle a Rockets team coming off a 52-21 non-league loss to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 3-13.
The Bearcats (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marlette (Marlette, MI). The Red Raiders go into the Greater Thumb - East bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Marlette was edged by Sandusky (Sandusky, MI), 31-16, in a league bout.
