Franklin Central Purple Devils (Franklin, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY), 47-20 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Franklin Central advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Purple Devils travel to Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 7-7.

The Spartans now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton for a Section 4 Tri-Valley match on Friday, February 14.
