In Thursday's league contest, the visiting South Stokes Sauras basketball team scored a big 70-40 triumph over the South Davidson Wildcats.

The Sauras (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings go into the Greater Triad 1A/2A contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, North Stokes was trounced by Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC), 78-68, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A contest, on Friday, February 13. South Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Villains enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 86-57 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).
