In Saturday's non-league outing, the Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI), by a count of 49-16.

The Vulcans (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks go into the Greater Thumb - West outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Cass City smashed Caro (Caro, MI), 48-25, in a league outing.
