North Carolina High School Basketball - Palisades knocked off by West Cabarrus

February 13, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

The West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Palisades Pumas to 31 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro contest on Friday, February 16. West Cabarrus will meet a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 52-37 league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 18-5.

The Pumas (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights enter the 4A South Meck contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Ardrey Kell ran past Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 68-27, in a league contest.
