The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), 78-61 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 21-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a 4A Greater Metro bout on Friday, February 14. Lake Norman will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 70-38 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Bishop McGuinness falls to 21-2 on the campaign.
