Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), 77-64 in a league contest.

The Eagles (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Raiders go into the 6A/5A Continental contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Regis Jesuit topped Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO), 62-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental contest, on Wednesday, February 18. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 76-68 league win over Legend (Parker, CO).
