North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 84-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 16. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 16-8. West Charlotte won 60-49 in their recent non-league bout against Hough (Cornelius, NC)
