Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers (Joplin, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Verona Wildcats (Verona, MO), 52-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Jefferson Independent Day upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-10. McAuley Catholic lost 50-46 in their recent league bout against Bronaugh (Bronaugh, MO)
