February 15, 2022: Denver, CO 80236 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) ice hockey team bounced the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), by a margin of 9-1.
The Red-Tailed Hawks now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis-Palmer for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 19. Cheyenne Mountain will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Rangers record now stands at 8-8.
The Mustangs (1-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Rampart notched a victory over Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 5-4, in a league challenge.
