The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) basketball knocked off the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA), 40-25 in Thursday's league test.

The Bishops (12-9) will now prepare for their test against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons go into the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, New Covenant notched a victory over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), 39-32, in a league test.

The Celtics now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host North Cross for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Roanoke Catholic will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 52-24 non-league win over Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 14-5.
