Missouri High School Basketball - Raytown South holds off Winnetonka
February 16, 2024: Raytown, MO 64138 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO) and the visiting Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO), saw Raytown South's basketball squad hold off Winnetonka by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, Raytown South improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Platte County (Platte City, MO) to confront the Pirates in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Platte County lost 66-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Raytown (Raytown, MO)
Next up, the Griffins confront the Ruskin Golden Eagles (Kansas City, MO) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Winnetonka will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 90-77 league win over KIPP Legacy (Kansas City, MO).
