The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball got by the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 79-77 in Monday's league test.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A test, on Tuesday, February 17. Union Pines will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 15-6 record after their 62-59 league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
