In Monday's non-league contest, the host Trinity Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 54-51 triumph over the Providence Grove Patriots.

The Bulldogs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Thomasville was nudged by West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 52-39, in a non-league match.
