The North Woods grizzlies basketball team scored 94 points and held the host Virginia Blue Devils to 43 in the grizzlies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The grizzlies now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesabi East for a non-league contest on Friday, February 18. North Woods will battle a Giants team coming off a 84-59 non-league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Giants record now stands at 7-13.

The Blue Devils (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluejackets enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record.
