The Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) softball nipped the visiting MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Cypress Woods held off Klein (Klein, TX), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

The Brahmas now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eastlake for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 17. MacArthur will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
