In Tuesday's league test, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball squad got by the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), by a score of 59-55.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A test, on Friday, February 20. Union Pines will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 15-7 record after their 45-27 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC).
