Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), 53-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cupertino upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Palo Alto won 49-43 in their recent league bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)
