Wyoming High School Basketball - Powell nips Mountain View

February 19, 2022: Powell, WY 82435

Powell Panthers (Powell, WY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mountain View Buffalos (Mountain View, WY), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Powell upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lovell (Lovell, WY) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Northwest bout on Friday, February 25. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Lovell lost 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (Mountain View, WY)

Next up, the Buffalos play the Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) in a 3A Southwest bout, on Thursday, February 24. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 69-52 non-league loss to Worland (Worland, WY).
