North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant fells Union Academy

February 2, 2021: Monroe, NC 28110

Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 54-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Queen's Grant upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Stallions travel to Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC) to play the Lions in a PAC 7 1A bout on Thursday, February 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Langtree Charter Academy lost 74-66 in their recent league bout against Pine Lake Preparatory (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a PAC 7 1A bout, on Wednesday, February 3. Union Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 70-53 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
