Texas High School Basketball - Spring Woods ripped by Cypress Creek

The Cypress Creek Cougars basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Spring Woods Tigers to 25 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford for a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Saturday, February 5. Cypress Creek will battle a Spartans team coming off a 48-30 league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 12-14.

The Tigers (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Falcons enter the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 15-13 record. In their last contest, Jersey Village triumphed over Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX), 58-30, in a league contest.
