Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA) and the visiting Independence (Ashburn, VA), saw Dominion's basketball squad overcome Independence by a tally of 50-31.

With the victory, Dominion improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA) to confront the Captains in a Dulles challenge on Friday, February 4. The Captains come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Loudoun County lost 55-39 in their recent league challenge against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA)
