California High School Basketball - Mission College Prep nudges Morro Bay

In Friday's league outing, the Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) basketball squad edged the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), by a margin of 54-53.

The Royals (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA). The Saints go into the Sunset outing with a 14-12 record. In their last outing, Santa Maria was tipped by Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 45-30, in a league outing.

The Pirates now own a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to San Luis Obispo for a Sunset outing on Tuesday, February 6. Morro Bay will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 42-16 league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-13.
