Illinois High School Basketball - Evergreen Park can't hold off De La Salle
February 2, 2025: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), 71-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 13-11 on the year. The Meteors travel to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 4-22. Aurora Central Catholic lost 58-33 in their recent non-league match against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL)
The Mustangs now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban match on Tuesday, February 4. Evergreen Park will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-14.
