Connecticut High School Basketball - Conard nips Cromwell
February 2, 2026: West Hartford, CT 06107 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Conard Red Wolves basketball team scored a close 54-47 win over the Cromwell Panthers.
The Red Wolves (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers enter the Central Connecticut - West Colonial match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Bristol Eastern was nudged by Hall (West Hartford, CT), 58-54, in a league match.
The Panthers now own a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Hampton for a Shoreline match on Tuesday, February 3. Cromwell will face a Bellringers squad coming off a 66-62 league win over Portland (Portland, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 6-8.
