In Monday's league contest, the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils basketball team scored a big 53-6 triumph over the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels.

The Blue Devils (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Duncan (Duncan, AZ). The Wildkats enter the non-league match with a 20-7 record. In their last match, Duncan overwhelmed Willcox (Willcox, AZ), 43-26, in a non-league match.

The Sentinels now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Simon for a 1A South contest on Wednesday, February 4. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 47-41 non-league win over North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Longhorns record now stands at 14-7.
