The Santa Rita Eagles nipped the host Morenci Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 54-50 in Monday's league outing.

The Eagles now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Willcox for a 2A South game on Thursday, February 5. Santa Rita will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Baboquivari (Sells, AZ). The Cowboys record now stands at 14-9.
