In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs basketball team scored a close 45-39 win over the Stevenson Patriots.

The Mustangs (22-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 26-5 record. In their last challenge, Fremd edged Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 77-52, in a non-league challenge.
