Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) supporters went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 80-73 in a non-league contest.

The Bears (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 20-8 record. In their last contest, O'Connor nipped Central (Phoenix, AZ), 91-77, in a non-league contest.
