Ash Fork Spartans (Ash Fork, AZ) supporters went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ), 34-31 in a non-league contest.

The Spartans (26-6) will now prepare for their contest against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 31-3 record. In their last match, Joseph City got by El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ), 46-21, in a non-league match.

The Wildkats now sport a 22-9 record.
