The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) and the visiting Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX), observed Pewitt's softball team prevail over Redwater by a tally of 13-2.

The Brahmas (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region III District 17 bout with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 23. Redwater will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX).
