Indiana High School Basketball - River Forest nips Washington Township

February 22, 2023: Hobart, IN 46342

River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN), 50-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Forest upgrades its record to 7-15 on the season. The Ingots travel to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Boone Grove lost 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN)

Next up, the Senators play the Trinity Titans (South Bend, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Washington Township will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 37-33 non-league win over Smith Academy (Fort Wayne, IN).
