The Bessemer City Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears to 54 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Rowan for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 26. Bessemer City will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 67-44 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 19-5.
