February 24, 2023: Iola, WI 54945 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (Iola, WI) and the visiting Almond-Bancroft Eagles (Almond, WI), saw Iola-Scandinavia's basketball squad hold off Almond-Bancroft by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Iola-Scandinavia improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) to confront the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 23-2. Assumption won 60-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI)
