McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. McKinney will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).

The Bengals now have a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they host Guyer for a 6A Region 1 District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Braswell will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-7.
