Texas High School Baseball - Naaman Forest loses to Emerson
February 24, 2025: McKinney, TX 75070 In Monday's non-league test, the Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX) baseball team routed the visiting Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX), by a margin of 7-1.
The Mavericks now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mesquite for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Emerson will play a Wranglers team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Naaman Forest drops to 1-2 on the year. The Rangers travel to The Colony (The Colony, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 2-2. The Colony lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)
