The United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) softball routed the visiting Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), 9-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Harlingen notched a victory over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
