The Wolfe City Wolves baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Leonard Tigers to 5 in the Wolves non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wolves now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ford for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Wolfe City will play a Panthers team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Leonard drops to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 2-1. Whitewright won 16-3 in their recent non-league test against Village Tech (Duncanville, TX)
