Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), 16-2 in a non-league game.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Wolverines come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Tolleson notched a victory over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 14-0, in a non-league match.

The Raiders now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a non-league match on Monday, March 2. Cibola will play a Jaguars team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.
