Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Imani Christian Academy Saints (Pittsburgh, PA), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union Area upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Scotties travel to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Bishop Canevin won 71-36 in their recent non-league bout against Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA)
