The Monroe Catholic Rams ran past the visiting Valdez Buccaneers basketball team by a final score of 43-35 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Galena Hawks (Galena, AK) in a 3A Aurora game, on Sunday, February 27. Monroe Catholic will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 6-7 record after their 46-22 league win over Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK).
