In Friday's non-league bout, the Colusa RedHawks (Colusa, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lindhurst Blazers (Olivehurst, CA), by a count of 18-2.

The RedHawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesa Verde for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 3. Colusa will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-1.
