The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN) and the host Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), observed Wabash's basketball team knock off Peru by a score of 71-62.

The Apaches (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 15-8 record. In their last battle, Eastern thwarted Carroll (Flora, IN), 59-57, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maconaquah for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 4. Peru will meet a Braves squad coming off a 56-48 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IN). The Braves record now stands at 3-19.
