The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Salem Christian School Defenders (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), witnessed Salem Christian School's soccer team get by Starmount by a final score of 2-1.

With the triumph, Salem Christian School moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Defenders host Community Baptist (Reidsville, NC) to meet the Conquerors in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 17. The Conquerors come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Rams now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 3. Starmount will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
